I’ve mentioned our friends and colleagues Phillip and Kit von Dalwig at Manifold before. Today’s New York Times gives me a good reason to do it again. An article in the Home and Garden section covers a beautiful renovation completed in the East Village. There are more photos by Dean Kaufman on Manifold’s site in case the NYT slideshow isn’t enough for you. I’m really happy to see them get the press because the work is so good and deserves to be noticed. We designed the graphic identity for two retail stores a few years ago on which Kit and Philipp designed the architecture. They’re lucky two times over – grinning on a beach in Mexico today. Salut.
